June 06 we had severe local flooding that started from Gosford and headed all the way to Newcastle and parts of inland surrounding Maitland. There were 20,000 calls for assistance to the SES, the 2nd largest event in its 52 year history. This LINK gives an in depth coverage as to what took place, Norah Head is my area.
The photos below are of the Tuggerah Lakes Catchement which is down the road from me as you can see these floods caused major havoc and headaches. The photo with the arrow is showing where most were without power for days.
